CGS ASIA, since its establishment in 2002, has been selling and supporting CAD / CAM software for mold manufacturing, production management systems and analysis software in the Thai and ASEAN markets. This time, we interviewed two ladies, a senior engineer and an engineer of CGS ASIA.

Original CAD / CAM software and production management (IoT) system developed by CGS ASIA

Ms.Siriporn: As a Senior Engineer, I oversee CAD software and software for the mold production management system called "AIQ".

Ms. Pathumrat:As an Engineer, I handle support tasks for customers who use the CAD software "EXCESS-HYBRID II". Our strengths include the quality and ease of use of our software products, as well as a system in which our engineering team can fully support Thai staff at production sites.

Ms.Siriporn: CGS ASIA sells in-house developed original CAD / CAM softwares "EXCESS-HYBRID II" and "CAM-TOOL", and a newly developed software "AIQ" for mold production management.

Ms. Pathumrat: “EXCESS-HYBRID II” is a CAD / CAM system for designing and manufacturing precision to medium-sized progressive press molds. A 3D model that needs to be confirmed 3-dimensionally on a general 2D drawing in press design can be superimposed for designing and examining in this system, and designing efficiency is greatly improved as it is equipped with abundant functions specialized for molds.

"CAM-TOOL" is a CAD / CAM system that supports a wide range of processes, from micro / precision molds to 5-axis machining of large molds. Since machining data that is exact to the 3D model shape can be created by our unique surface calculations, we receive high praise from customers who require high accuracy and surface quality.

CAD EXCESS-HYBRID II and CAM CAM-TOOL

Ms.Siriporn: In Thailand, production management software is not so popular yet. The newly developed AIQ is a process management system specialized in the manufacturing of molds and parts. Utilizing IoT, information such as orders, plans, progress, and costs is managed in a centralized system by storing all the information in a database and is linked in real time to realize the "visualization" of the overall process, leading to more accurate measures for delivery dates and improvement of manufacturing processes.

Ms. Pathumrat:Our software is made in Japan and is very easy to use for our customers. The system language can be selected from Japanese, English and Thai. When a customer is considering a purchase, our software will be demonstrated and the actual features are shown. After purchase, we also provide training services. Further, if there are any problems during usage, we will respond immediately at any time.

Ms.Siriporn: Our customer base is mostly companies related to the mold industry, such as dies and molds in the automotive and electronics industries. Every year, we develop and upgrade software and are prepared in providing support for customers who have problems during usage. Thanks to customers, our products have been highly evaluated by many, and we have been receiving comments of their “great satisfaction.”

In statistical data in which the disclosure or provision does not identify the user’s identity.

Management of Personal Information

The Company will maintain the accuracy of personal information and manage it safely.
The Company will take appropriate security measures to prevent the loss, destruction, tampering or leakage of personal information.
The Company will take precautionary measures against the loss, destruction, tampering, and leakage of personal information through appropriate system maintenance of the operating system and education of employees.

Request for Notification, Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use of Personal Information

In the case the Company receives request from the individual user regarding the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or erasure of personal information, stoppage of use by a third party or notification of use, after confirmation that the requester is the individual user, the Company will respond without delay in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.

Note that in the case that the request does not meet the requirements stipulated by the Personal Data Protection Act, or the reason to reject such request is permitted by the Personal Data Protection Act or other laws and regulations, the request may not be fulfilled.

In addition, there is no payment required or fees associated with the request for disclosure by the individual user. However, the cost of communication from the individual user to the Company, transportation expenses, and expenses associated with the preparation of materials for the purposes of individual identification will be the responsibility of the individual user.

Revision of Privacy Policy: The Company will review the operational status of the handling of personal information and make efforts for continuous improvement, and may change the Policy as necessary. After such changes to the Policy, the Policy will be published on the Company’s website.
