“COSMOWAVE TECHNOLOGY”, a Thai subsidiary of Cosmo Instruments, which seems to be the dominant institution in the air leak testing industry in Thailand, celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2021. Mr. Hiroshi Nishimura, the Technical Director who represents the company, along with Mr. Winai, GM and Mr. Supon, Sales and Service Manager, who have been active members of the company since its establishment, spoke about COSMOWAVE TECHNOLOGY.

Cosmo Instruments (Headquarters: Hachioji, Tokyo) began manufacturing and selling air leak testers from the time the company was established in 1970. As the top runner in leak tests in Japan, the company supports manufacturing sites such as automobile parts, gas, water, medical, electric, and electronics all over the world (expanded to 24 bases in 13 countries from 1983 to 2021).

COSMOWAVE TECHNOLOGY's main products include air leak testers, waveform analysis (noise inspection) systems / leak masters / pressure and flow control equipment / various industrial measurement devices and systems.

One of the reasons why the company has been able to continue its activities in Thailand for 20 years is that the Thai staff, trained under the guidance of Japanese technical trainers, are able to perform tasks that require high precision such as product repair, maintenance, and calibration services without any problems.

As the only manufacturer of leak testing equipment in Thailand, we inspect variety of machines.

Nishimura (honorific title omitted): COSMOWAVE TECHNOLOGY, a local subsidiary of Cosmo Instruments, has been blessed with customers and employees since its establishment in June 2001, and this year marks its 20th anniversary.

As of 2021, we are the only manufacturer of air leak testers that is directly active in Thailand, and we are the only company that has Thai experts on leak testing.

In 2015, we became the Thai distributor of Akatsuki-Giken (Akatsuki-Giken Co., Ltd. / Toyoake City, Aichi Prefecture), manufacturing special couplers, which is one of the essential mechanisms for leak testing, and started selling high quality special couplers in Thailand that can also be used for helium (He) leak testing.

At the same time, Coretech in Japan (Coretech Inc. / Headquarters: Soja City, Okayama Prefecture) offered a Thai distributorship for the company's "Servo Press" and "Nut Runner". After meeting on various conditions, we became the distributor in 2017, and we incorporated sales of the products and installation support for customers in Thailand into our business portfolio.

As an expansion of the service activities for Coretech products, the preparation of the calibration service scheduled for 2020 was delayed by one year due to the influence of the COVID pandemic, but we were able to resume the preparation activities from the beginning of 2021. Although the scope of calibration is still limited due to the availability of equipment, we are ready to start the services of the servo presses. For nut runners, we plan to be able to start the services by the second half of 2022.

Management of Personal Information

The Company will maintain the accuracy of personal information and manage it safely.
The Company will take appropriate security measures to prevent the loss, destruction, tampering or leakage of personal information.
The Company will take precautionary measures against the loss, destruction, tampering, and leakage of personal information through appropriate system maintenance of the operating system and education of employees.

Request for Notification, Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use of Personal Information

In the case the Company receives request from the individual user regarding the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or erasure of personal information, stoppage of use by a third party or notification of use, after confirmation that the requester is the individual user, the Company will respond without delay in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.

Note that in the case that the request does not meet the requirements stipulated by the Personal Data Protection Act, or the reason to reject such request is permitted by the Personal Data Protection Act or other laws and regulations, the request may not be fulfilled.

In addition, there is no payment required or fees associated with the request for disclosure by the individual user. However, the cost of communication from the individual user to the Company, transportation expenses, and expenses associated with the preparation of materials for the purposes of individual identification will be the responsibility of the individual user.

Revision of Privacy Policy: The Company will review the operational status of the handling of personal information and make efforts for continuous improvement, and may change the Policy as necessary. After such changes to the Policy, the Policy will be published on the Company’s website.
