Utilizing the air leak test technology and knowledge that Cosmo Instruments has developed over more than 50 years, the company has developed a new air leak tester, the “EV series,” in response to the increase in EV production. Introducing the excellent features of the new leak testers "LS-R902EV" and "AL-R302EV".
Ideal for leak test of high-capacity and low-voltage EV batteries
The big difference between gasoline-powered vehicles and EVs is the size of the batteries used. Leak testers that are compatible with them must be applied. We foresaw this change and developed the new air leak testers "LS-R902EV" and "AL-R302EV".

Features of air leak tester "EV Series" New function improves judgment accuracy
Various new functions for EV battery measurement have been developed for more accurate pass/fail judgment and detection.
1. Newly developed CISVAS filter
The CISVAS filter can remove noise caused by sudden deformation of the battery case. The filter uses a unique method to monitor the movement behavior of the leakage volume of the battery case and identifies abnormal changes. Identifying such abnormal changes increases the reliability of the leak test.

2. Equipped with ambient temperature compensation function
The characteristics of the battery case make it susceptible to changes in room temperature during tests, and the ambient temperature compensation function reduces false readings due to temperature changes caused by these effects.
These two EV series models measure the room temperature during the tests and perform appropriate compensation based on the temperature difference due to the diurnal variation of the room temperature.
