This is an integrated inspection and measurement instrument that can perform all processes from visual inspection to measurement and transfer in a single unit, taking advantage of the advanced image processing and inspection technologies that have supported SONY's mounting processes for over 35 years and utilizing JUKI's mechatronics technologies. Especially at sites where manual visual inspection and measurement are the norm, it is possible to realize a significant time reduction and high-precision inspection. The lineup includes "SE1000" for surface visual inspection, "HE1000", a hybrid inspection instrument that accurately measures the depth of scratches with an optical comb laser, and "TM1000", a chain inspection instrument for simultaneous double-sided inspection.

The ISM was developed by “ESSEGI” of Italy using its automated warehousing technology for electronic components. It enables automation of electronic component management work, where most of the loading/unloading and management of components is performed manually. It contributes to saving space and effective utilization of human resources by reducing man-hours as well as enhancement of parts management.
