ENSHU (Thailand), which manufactures and sells machining centers in Thailand, exhibited at METALEX 2019, one of the largest manufacturing-related-exhibition in the ASEAN region, demonstrated a new optional system that supports improvement of work efficiency and time savings at manufacturing sites.

Work transfer innovation! Built-in automatic transfer system for next-generation machining center

What was demonstrated was the "E-Loader", an automatic transfer device (auto-loading machine) as an option for the mainstay vertical machining center "WE30Ve".

By utilizing the movement of the X-axis of the machining center, the work can be transferred simply and at a reasonable price. It is possible to pick up a work, put it into the machine (loading), and take out the work from the machine (unloading) without human intervention. It is an alternative to robots and gantry loaders. Space saving is achieved by incorporating this device in the machining center. A next-generation machining center that can contribute to low cost with a simple machine configuration is completed.

Compared to robot loading and gantry loaders, the cost of installation is reasonable and the cost of repair and maintenance is not high. Another feature is that the ceiling height required for gantry loaders is not required.
