Global warming has become an issue in recent years. One of the causes is CO2 (carbon dioxide) that emitted by compressors. In normally, pneumatic system that use compressors emit a large amount of CO2. To changing to use electric series products will lead to reduction of CO2 and electricity consumption. Therefore, we would like to introduce the "Eco-electric Series" , a revolutionary fully electric transport system developed by Hirata Corporation to improve the global environment issues such as energy conservation and carbon neutrality.
＜Features of the Eco Electric Series＞
■ Hirata Blue Motor
It is an equipment that equipped with a compact high-efficiency DC brushless motor developed in-house.
When compared to conventional equipment, the volume of motor is about 1/20th and weight is 1/10th

*compared with our conventional motors. Moreover, the power consumption and CO2 emissions have been reduced by approximately 75% *compared with our conventional motors.
* The above pictures is a size comparison of our conventional AC conveyor motor (200W) and DC conveyor motor (50W), and there have difference support performance.
These motors are installed in each of the Eco Electric Series such as conveyors and lifters, and can perform operations by multi-function such as "stop", "turn around", and "move up and down". Therefore, the system unit combining these motors can realize space-saving and more efficient operations.
▲ Easy operation with controller-less, as it can be operated only by turning on and off 24VDC
■ Low Thrust
The Eco Electric Series operates with low thrust (safe and weak force, the equipment will have reaction when there has a condition of a collision or other emergency). This eliminates the need for safety fences, human detection sensors, and other ancillary safety equipment, due to there have no risk of injury even if it comes into contact with people. Therefore, it is greatly contributing to the reduction of equipment costs.

In addition of environmental measures and power saving, the Eco Electric Series also offers ease of use and high functionality. Here are three points we particularly recommend, from an engineer's point of view.
■ Controller-less
The product has a built-in drive unit, that can allow the speed adjustment which is No controller, cumbersome programs, teaching devices for setting changes, etc. are required.
■ Connection is completed with only one cable.
Current AC conveyors required multiple wires. But for DC conveyors, everything is integrated into the I/O terminal, and it can be started immediately by simply connecting a commercially available M12 cable.
■ Easy maintenance
With modular design, it allows for easy disassembly and assembly. And another feature is easy maintenance.

We would like to offer proposals by starting with introduction on a model line.
More than 60 standard modules are available, including drive units, electric stoppers, and electric cylinders. It can be use optimally combined according to the needs and suitability.
