Our Company, KWE-Kintetsu World Express (Thailand) Co., Ltd. was established in 1989 as the local subsidiary. We integrated with TKK Logistic, a local distribution company in Thailand, in 2011, and we currently have about 1,500 employees within our Thai corporation, and we provide our clients with high quality distribution services by specializing in our own business.
For the sea freight business, about 160 employees (including 4 Japanese employees specialized in ocean business) handle the export and import arrangements and business for marine container transport which comprises about 90% of the international trade.
In recent years, during the unification and reorganization of several container shipping companies, our Company handles the request from the clients and provides high quality services as a NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), and the handling volume and the number shipments are increasing year by year.
With regard to shipments to the major ports in Japan, our Company arranges consolidated shipments every week, and we provide high quality services and short lead-times as our premium service. We also coordinate the export and import Customs clearance and vehicle arrangement business with our Bangkok Head Office and we handle these services directly. We dispatch our staff to the main ports in Thailand, such as Bangkok Port, Laem Chabang Port, and Lat Krabang ICD as required to ensure we implement prompt and secure handling of our clients' cargo.
The destinations for marine container export are mainly in Japan and within Asia as the basis, and the long-distance sea routes mainly go to North America and Central America, which volume has been increasing significantly. However, please note that the long-distance sea routes' lead-time is longer to deliver cargo to the Midwestern destinations in North America, as such cargo is transported by the railway system after landing the cargo at ports on the west coast or east coast of the USA.
Under such situation, we believe that “Understanding”, “Confirmation”, and “Reporting” about the time and place of the containers of our clients are most important factors; therefore, we closely communicate with our overseas companies and confirm the details accordingly. Also, we transmit trace reports according to the request of our clients as guidance for them, and we apply every effort to contribute to visualization.
The staff of Kinki Express Thailand handling the marine transportation business take extreme care to provide outstanding services. If you have a problem with marine transportation or matters for consultation, please feel free to contact us.
