We have delivered about 5,000 industrial refrigeration compressors in Thailand. Our service division is responsible for overhauling these compressors, the operation diagnosis of the entire refrigeration system, and the inspection and maintenance necessary to maintain optimum working conditions.
The service division consists of about 30 staff members divided into 6 teams to cover the whole of Thailand.

We perform about 250 overhauls a year and respond to inquiries that arise almost every day. In order to respond to such a large number of overhauls and inquiries, it is essential to train and educate our technical staff.

In order to raise the technical skill level of all our service personnel, we have introduced an in-house overhaul skill certification system at all our bases in Asia. Since "technical skills" cannot be seen by eyes, there may be differences in level depending on the location.
The purpose is to equalize the level of the entire group by establishing a unified standard. The skill certification test is divided into levels from 1 to 3 according to the compressor model Screw Compressor or Reciprocating Compressor The service personnel of our Thai subsidiary have also received training in Japan and obtained an in-house overhaul skill certification. Each leader of the maintenance team has more than 20 years of experience, and they have obtained Level 1 to Level 2 certification.

Mayekawa (Thailand)'s technical staff are highly skilled. At the “Asia Overhaul Championship”, an in-house competition for overhaul skills held in 2019, Mayekawa (Thailand)'s veteran service staff won second place.

In 2018, we invited a lecturer from Japan, and all Mayekawa (Thailand) employees (about 150) attended Level 3 training and obtained certification. This was a new initiative to help all employees in Thailand understand the company's products.

Three locations in Thailand realize quick customer responses.
Overhaul and repair work is usually done at the customer's factory, but in some cases, the machine may be gotten into our warehouse for repair depending on the conditions. Our workshops are in the suburbs of Bangkok and Rayong, which allow us to carry out detailed maintenance. We also have a large inventory of spare parts, which enables us to respond quickly to requests for sudden troubles or emergency repairs.
