"Tungsten" is said to have the highest melting point among metals and is difficult to process due to its high hardness. It is classified as a difficult-to-cut material alongside ceramics and stainless steel. It is very rare to find a manufacturer that can handle both material procurement and processing in Thailand. MFK Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as MFK), with which MC Technos collaborates, is a manufacturer that has been engaged in high-precision machining of difficult-to-cut materials including tungsten in Thailand for more than 10 years. In this article, we will introduce the company's strengths and machining technologies.

Utilizing the processing know-how of resistance welding electrodes for high-precision machining of difficult-to-cut materials

MFK manufactures welding electrodes and jigs/tools, as well as designs and fabricates machinery and equipment in Thailand. The parent company is Nagoya-based Mizutani Furaisu Kouki Co., Ltd., which specializes in processing difficult-to-cut materials. In Thailand, MFK focuses on the following three businesses. In particular, it has an established reputation for metal cutting, grinding, and brazing.

■ Metal processing business (processing of metal parts such as copper and tungsten)
・Resistance welding electrodes

・Shanks, cutter holders, etc.

■ Design, manufacture and assembly of specialized machines
Manufacturing custom-made production equipment

■ Design and construction of factory facilities

Micron-level processing of a wide range of metals from copper to tungsten and more

MFK is skilled in metal processing due to its electrode manufacturing know-how accumulated over many years, and capable of processing a wide range of metals, from copper, the softest metal, to tungsten, the hardest.

【MFK's strengths]】
✔ Dealing with difficult-to-cut materials in Thailand

The company has a lot of experience handling a wide variety of metals (difficult-to-cut materials) such as tungsten, ceramics, and carbide.
✔ Capable of ultra-high-precision machining of difficult-to-cut materials in microns
Capable of handling tight tolerances of 1/1000 level.
✔ Extensive range of processing machines
It has a full range of equipment such as grinders, multi-tasking machines, wire EDM machines, and specialized facilities for surface finishing, that can achieve high-precision machining.

Are you not giving up on the idea of procuring high-quality parts with a tolerance of 1/1000 level using difficult-to-cut materials in Thailand thinking it would be difficult? MFK provides high-precision machined parts made of difficult-to-machine materials with the same standards as those in Japan through integrated production in Thailand. The company has a lot of experience in designing and manufacturing not only electrode parts, but also various metal parts and jigs.
