“NACHI” brand “Fujikoshi Corp.” (Tokyo) is a long-established manufacturer of cutting tools, bearings and industrial robots. Established in 1928, it has a history of nearly 100 years.
We came to Thailand in 1999, and this year is our 20 year anniversary of being in Thailand. Of all of our products, the bearing business is the core of the Thai business. It accounts for more than half of all sales. Starting in 2016, the turning process is done in-house, and we deliver high-value-added products to customers quickly and reliably.

Supply roller bearings and ball bearings manufactured in Thailand for the domestic and overseas markets

The bearing business in Thailand has started in line with the local production of motorcycles and automobiles by automakers. We have established a factory in Rayong Province, eastern Thailand, mainly producing ball bearings.
Among our products, lately the need for ball bearings that can withstand high loads is increasing.
We reviewed the conventional type deep groove ball bearing (two-point contact) and independently developed a 4-point contact bearing that requires high processing technology. It was also introduced to the Thai market.

- By changing from a deep groove ball bearing to a 4-point contact ball bearing, the same size can handle high loads.
By changing from roller bearings to 4-point contact ball bearing, rotary resistance can be greatly reduced.

In addition to various automobiles, demand is expanding in such areas as the agricultural machinery field.

At the beginning of the bearing business, the main focus was on supply to the Thai market, but the sales channel gradually expanded.
Now we are also exporting to various parts of the world, such as India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Europe and America.

Spherical roller bearings for industrial machinery were also introduced to the Thai market

We are also focusing on products for industrial machinery. In particular, our company succeeded in commercializing spherical roller bearings used in high-load press machines and stone crushers. We have accumulated many achievements and established trust in our product line. Launched in 2015, the EXQ series is an excellent product with up to a 25% increase in axial load resistance and a 10% increase in allowable rotational speed.
It is indispensable in South East Asia, where construction rushes continue.

Ball screw support bearings are used in machine tools that require precise machining accuracy. We have many lineups to meet the diverse needs of our customers.
By using this product, precise feeding of the workpiece is realized. Recently, a minor change was made to improve the performance of the bearing sealing device and further improve the performance against contamination. In the local market, we aim to capture demand as an alternative to existing bearings.

Achieved cost reduction and speedup through integrated production in Thailand

Another point we would like to introduce is about our factory in Rayong Province. This factory, which celebrates its 20th year this year, produces and sells bearings for motorcycles and automobiles; but since 3years ago, it has combined the turning process and started integrated production. It is rare for a bearing manufacturer to perform integrated production by including the turning process, and it attracted the attention of many market participants immediately after completion. It has become possible for us to work with confidence from the supply of materials to shipment, and it realized a reduction in costs and quick responses to customers’production time.
