NANO SEIMITSU CO., LTD who operates the automatic parts sorting service “Sorting House” in Thailand, has begun looking for new partners around the Asian areas. In Deli, India, they have a plan to open a “Sorting House” in just 2years in this coming summer. They also consider to operate more houses in the same country. They, furthermore, have been trying to make business partners in Vietnam because they believe that Vietnam which is contiguous land with Thailand has high potential market. At the time, a Japanese executive officer of a Vietnam company in Vietnam heard about the “Sorting House” through word of mouth and visited it.
The person who visited the head office of NANO SEIMITSU CO., LTD in Samut Prakarn is Mr. Masahiro Kagawa, Sales Department Manager, from TECNO VIETNAM INDUSTRIES CO.,LTD that is located Hanoi, Vietnam. Mr. Kagawa met to Mr. Nobuhiro Ohishi, Managing Director of NANO SEIMITSU CO., LTD. They could arrange their schedule only a few hours on that day. They looked that they enthusiastically believe fateful encounter to bet it.
Tecno Vienam is a company with Vietnam capital built in 2009. Their sell inspection device, measurement, machine, and production material, and contribute to quality control and production management of parts and mold manufacturers. Mr. Kagawa, the Sales Department Manager, has been interested into how to improve product quality.
His business partner in Vietnam told him about “the Sorting House” which was operated by a company and had capacity to sort parts maximum 100K pieces in a day. He came up with an instinct, off course it depended on conditions, that the house could make a big impact among Vietnam market.
Even though industrialization has been developed in Vietnam, the market is still labor-intensive. Defect inspection and quality conformance test are done by eyes and hands of many labors. This is the big difference of market compared to Thailand in which inspection process has been gradually automated.
Off course, human errors and oversight still remain there, and, every time it happens, part manufacturers endlessly have to check the whole products they delivered to customers by customers’ request. Mr. Kagawa expresses that the ‘Vicious Tradition’, and mentions “Many interested persons have closed their eyes to it until today”. He has thought the need for the countermeasure without fundamental solutions to be improved.
As soon as Mr. Ohishi described the system and possibility of the whole inspection, Mr. Kagawa visited the sorting house. He carefully checked the running machine, heard detail about it, and enthusiastically asked questions.
Mr. Kagawa said “It was smaller and space-saving than I expected, which was impressive. That is remarkable machine because labor can be minimum, and it is automated.” Whether it can be operationalized is unknown because they have to carefully pay attention to the demands in Vietnam. He says, however, that he reaped a harvest because he met something nobody hasn’t done yet and a service nobody hasn’t taken the first step.
In the near future, automatic sorting service which was started in Thailand by NANO SEIMITSU CO., LTD can be seen in Vietnam and other Asian countries.
