neis (Thailand) sells welding materials for brazing and related products developed and manufactured by themselves. We are not just a "materials shop", but we aim to propose solutions that satisfy our customers and raise the level of brazing technology among Thai engineers. In this article, we would like to introduce our company's initiatives to achieve this goal.
The main welding-related materials for brazing we are developing and manufacturing brazing filler metals and fluxes.
Brazing filler metals are metal materials that act as an adhesive during "brazing" that include aluminum, copper, silver, etc., and are classified according to JIS standards as follows.
◾️ Copper brazing (Cu):Steel material, stainless steel
◾️ Brass (Cu, Zn) :Steel materials, nickel, and copper and its alloys
◾️ Silver brazing (Ag, Cu, Zn) :Metal materials other than aluminum and magnesium
◾️ Phosphorus copper brazing (Cu, P):Copper and its alloys
◾️ Aluminum brazing (Al, Si):Aluminum alloys (heat exchangers)
◾️ Nickel brazing (Ni, B, P):Stainless steel, heat-resistant alloys (EGR for engines)
◾️ Gold brazing (Au, Cu, Ni):High corrosion-resistant products (jewelry)
◾️ Palladium brazing (Pb, Ag) :Heat-resistant products
These brazing filler metals differ in their properties and suitability for the metals to be joined. Furthermore, the brazing filler metals also affect the airtightness and strength of the joint, so it is important to select the correct brazing filler metal to ensure reliable brazing.
However, in reality, there are a huge variety metals for brazing, and the current situation is that JIS standard products alone are not sufficient.
Therefore, by customizing and providing order-made brazing filler metals, we offer the most suitable molten material for our customers' applications.
In the unlikely event that a defective product is found, we will investigate the cause and take responsibility until the end, so please leave it to us with peace of mind.
The second initiative is to hold a "brazing workshop". Brazing is a common technique for metal joining. Even with easy-level brazing, the rate of defects in Thailand is higher than the global industry standard. One of the reasons may be that the workers are working without sufficient training. To improve this situation, we are holding workshops for our customer's engineering staff.

A renewed understanding of the basics of brazing and how it works will lead to a lower defect rate. It has been well received by our customers as it also helps to raise the awareness of the engineers working at a site.
Neis Co., Ltd. has a history of more than 70 years as a welding and joining professional in Japan. Based on our technology and know-how, we provide the best solutions for brazing in Thailand.
