METALEX is back! The 38th Metallurgical Machinery and Technology Expo, which will be held on 20-23 November 2024 at BITEC Bangna. OKUMA TECHNO (Thailand) Ltd. is ready to showcase The MASTERPIECE machinery to industrialists.

■ 5-axis Vertical machining center, MU-500V III series

The new machining center is equipped with best-in-class stability and accuracy, meeting the needs of all manufacturing industries. It can increase productivity by reducing production steps and has the largest shearing area. It achieves both shearing accuracy and reduced CO2 emissions, leading to a carbon-neutral society.

・Strong structural design supports heavy machining and a wide range of applications from low-volume to mass production.
・It has a large turning area that accommodates workpieces with up to ø700 mm., but the most compact in size when compared to machines in the same class.

■ 1-Saddle CNC Lathe, LB3000 EX III series

It is said that the molding accuracy of a workpiece changes significantly depending on the ambient temperature of the machine and the heat generated from machine and molding. Okuma's new CNC lathe features an innovative control to stabilize the machine's temperature during operation, enabling high-accuracy molding in normal factory environments.

It is the most reliable machine for molding large workpieces. It has excellent chip evacuation and long unattended operations, thanks to the rigid twin-column structure design of the MB-V.

The Thermo-Friendly Concept is friendly to the machine's ambient temperature, with improved design dimensional stability with a better structure and a longer machining accuracy from 8μm (the previous model) to 5μm, an increase of 38% in accuracy.
