At distribution centers that handle frozen foods, speedy product picking and temperature control are extremely important. In Thailand, where the temperature is high all year round, speed and temperature control are even more important than they would be in Japan.

1. Easy, accurate, and speedy continuous picking! High-speed picking system (optical picking equipment) "Pickatoru”

The "Pickatoru" is picking equipment that uses LED lights to achieve highly productive continuous picking. Additionally, the “Pickatoru 2” is a 2-lane system that eliminates the need to wait for picking boxes to arrive. Pickatoru is a hand-feed type and is ideal equipment for refrigerated products, dry products, agricultural products, and fragile products that easily roll.

2. Large payload and wide operating range! "Robot Palletizer A Series" that brings together Okura's palletizing technologies

The "Robot Palletizer A Series" is available in 4 types: low speed (400 cycles/h), standard (700 cycles/h), high speed (1,720 cycles/h), and high payload (maximum payload 350 kg), to meet the various challenges of the shipping process. In addition to palletizing in freezers, this machine can be used for various applications such as palletizing slippery plastic bags and mixed loads of different products.

Case Study in Japan : Realization of 30-minute/batch high speed picking at a frozen food distribution center that requires speed!

We installed a system that combines automatic machines centered on "Pickatoru 2" at a distribution center that handles frozen foods. With this system, we have succeeded in speeding up the product picking process (30 minutes/batch). It contributes to the prevention of food quality deterioration.

In addition to the Pickatoru and robot palletizers, we have built and installed a comprehensive automation system such as order management using RFID and an automatic bag closing machine.
