In networks where operation of 24 hours a day, 365 days a year is normal, downtime of systems, networks, and services is a major loss to the business.
The network monitor signal beacon of the PATLITE visualizes and notifies the information of the network error and warning by "light", "sound" and "mail". Supports various monitoring functions such as PING, TRAP, SNMP monitoring and application monitoring. In addition, control by abundant communication commands such as RSH and SOCKET communication is realized. Never miss an abnormality in the network. It also has 4 digital inputs and 1 digital output.
Equipped with a LINE OUT terminal, it can also be used as an in-house broadcast by linking with existing broadcasting equipment.
As a device that can visualize the occurrence of anomalies, our devices are often used in places such as banks, server operating companies, and online sales (e-commerce) where immediate response is required.
What is PING?
pPING is a command to check if the network is connected.
In case a problem occurs on the internet line or network equipment, it gives prompt notification.
PATLITE's NH series can do alive monitoring up to 24 nodes.
What is TRAP?
TRAP is an operation that interrupts the program being executed and automatically transfers control to a predetermined processing task if any abnormality occurs during execution of the computer program.
It is used as a device that can visualize the occurrence of abnormalities.
What is SNMP monitoring?
SNMP monitoring is a monitoring method that utilizes SNMP, which is one of the protocols.
SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) is an industry standard protocol created to monitor the status of devices existing in the network.
What is application monitoring?
In application alive monitoring, the server may be running, but the system may be down because necessary processes are not running.
When a failure occurs, it is used as a device that can visualize it.
What is RSH command?
A command that executes a specified command on a remote system. While telnet and rlogin connect to the remote host interactively, RSH connects to the remote host and executes the specified commands in batch.
What is SOCKET communication?
The Internet uses a communication protocol called TCP / IP, but in order to use that TCP / IP from a program, a special gateway connecting the world of programs and the world of TCP / IP is required. The SOCKET is the gateway.
What is LINEOUT?
LINE OUT is a terminal for connecting to the LINEIN of an external device (deck, amplifier, speaker with built-in amplifier).
It is very easy to install because it does not require a gateway compatible with Microsoft Azure IoT Hub and directly connects to the cloud. If there is a network environment, a broadcast can be made to anywhere in the world. Up until now, it was necessary to link with individual devices, but it is now possible to notify each device only by linking with Azure. Because there is no need to install a server, it leads to cost reduction also.
What is Microsoft Azure?
"Azure" is a cloud service provided by Microsoft.
There are 2 types of platforms provided by Microsoft Azure: "IaaS" and "PaaS".
1. IaaS
Abbreviation for Infrastructure as a Service. This service creates and uses virtual machines on the cloud via the Internet. Management below the virtualization layer is performed by the cloud service provider (Microsoft). Management above the virtual machine OS is responsible of the user (customer).
2. PaaS
Abbreviation for Platform as a Service. Management of the virtual machine OS is also done by the cloud service provider (Microsoft).
What is SaaS
Abbreviation for Software as a Service. The user (customer) does not build the foundation or prepares the software, but runs and manages the software of service provider (Microsoft). Users utilize service functions via the network. (This corresponds to email services such as Outlook and Office 365)
This SaaS is not included in Azure support.
No need to have a person at front of a computer all day long. Our network monitoring system enables to visualize abnormalities by "light", "sound", and "email" even when they are far away, and to be able to take immediate action.
