RX Tradex Vietnam – the organizer of “METALEX Vietnam 2024” has formally entered into a partnership with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Ho Chi Minh City, the Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC), and the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Supporting Industries Development (CSID). This partnership aims to jointly host the 23rd edition of the “Supporting Industry Show 2024” along with the 12th edition in Ho Chi Minh City, running concurrently with the “METALEX Vietnam 2024” exhibition.

The international event is dedicated to displaying cutting-edge machinery, innovative technologies, and advanced solutions pertinent to the supporting and metalworking industries. It also facilitates business networking among Vietnamese, Japanese, and global enterprises. Scheduled from October 2 to October 4, 2024, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), these exhibitions are anticipated to attract over 15,000 discerning visitors.

The signing ceremony was a significant event marked by a dignified atmosphere attended by numerous esteemed delegates and guests. Notable attendees included Mr. Vu Trong Tai, General Manager of RX Tradex Vietnam, Mr. Matsumoto Nobuyuki, Chief Representative of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Ho Chi Minh City, Ms. Cao Thi Phi Van, Vice President, of Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC), and Ms. Le Nguyen Duy Oanh, Vice Director, Ho Chi Minh City Center For Supporting Industries Development (CSID).

A prominent exhibition originating from the "Japan - Vietnam Joint Initiative"

“Supporting Industry Show 2024” is a prominent exhibition originating from the "Japan - Vietnam Joint Initiative" established in 2003 through a high-level agreement between Japan and Vietnam, aimed at improving Vietnam's investment landscape and enhancing cooperation in the supporting industry under the "Vietnam - Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (VJEPA)". This event facilitates interactions between domestic and Japanese businesses and serves as a crucial platform to elevate the quality and global competitiveness of Vietnam's supporting industry.

During the ceremony, Mr. Vu Trong Tai, General Manager of RX Tradex Vietnam, highlighted several positive developments in Vietnam's economic environment: “Vietnam is vigorously implementing innovative policies to accelerate production and integrate into the global supply chain. The UN forecasts a 6.0% growth rate for Vietnam in 2024, up from 4.7% in 2023. The World Bank positions Vietnam at 68th on the Ease of Doing Business Index. With 16 free trade agreements (FTAs), Vietnam offers high-value chains to industrialists, thus attracting substantial foreign investment. Consequently, our Metalex Vietnam 2024 exhibition will continue its pivotal role as a global supply platform, featuring 250 brands from 20 countries, and showcasing the Japan Pavilion and other national pavilions to provide advanced technologies that meet elevated production standards.”

Mr. Matsumoto Nobuyuki emphasized: “JETRO alternates the Supporting Industry Show annually between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to foster the development of the supporting industry and increase the localization rate of Japanese enterprises in Vietnam. This year marks the 23rd event in Vietnam and the 12th in Ho Chi Minh City. This year’s exhibition will distribute the "The Potential Vietnamese Companies in Southern Vietnam" and "Japanese & Foreign Supplier in Southern Vietnam" books free of charge, providing valuable industry-related information. Additionally, trade negotiations will not be restricted to exhibiting companies but will be expanded to include all visiting businesses, promoting extensive business interactions among Vietnamese, Japanese, and other foreign companies.”

The strategic collaboration between RX Tradex Vietnam, JETRO, ITPC, and CSID not only benefits the parties involved but also significantly contributes to the overall growth of Vietnam's supporting industry. The Company will take appropriate security measures to prevent the loss, destruction, tampering or leakage of personal information.
The Company will take precautionary measures against the loss, destruction, tampering, and leakage of personal information through appropriate system maintenance of the operating system and education of employees.

Request for Notification, Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use of Personal Information

In the case the Company receives request from the individual user regarding the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or erasure of personal information, stoppage of use by a third party or notification of use, after confirmation that the requester is the individual user, the Company will respond without delay in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.

Note that in the case that the request does not meet the requirements stipulated by the Personal Data Protection Act, or the reason to reject such request is permitted by the Personal Data Protection Act or other laws and regulations, the request may not be fulfilled.

In addition, there is no payment required or fees associated with the request for disclosure by the individual user. However, the cost of communication from the individual user to the Company, transportation expenses, and expenses associated with the preparation of materials for the purposes of individual identification will be the responsibility of the individual user.

Revision of Privacy Policy: The Company will review the operational status of the handling of personal information and make efforts for continuous improvement, and may change the Policy as necessary. After such changes to the Policy, the Policy will be published on the Company’s website.
