Sodick's high-speed milling center is equipped with a uniquely developed and manufactured linear motor drive. The TS50L follows the technology cultivated in its predecessor model UH series and has further improved cost performance. It is popular in a wide range of fields, including for use in automobile-related and electronics-related industries in Thailand and ASEAN. In electric discharge machining, all machining precision and surface roughness depend on the quality and precision of the electrodes.
Electrodes machined with high quality and high precision are the only tools that solve a number of problems in electrical discharge machining sites.
The X / Y / Z 3 axes are equipped with the same LN4S as the high-end model "UH series" linear motor and controller.
High-speed read-ahead control is also installed as standard, realizing a high-speed and smooth cutter path, enabling high-quality electrode production.
Applications: Precision plastic molds, precision die-cast molds, rubber molds, etc.
The AL series supports precision mold machining and precision component machining with a linear motor drive and the latest electrical discharge control technology. This is a new generation shape-curving precision electrical discharge machining machine that combines Sodick's many years of electrical discharge control technology with linear motor control technology, as well as the latest AI (artificial intelligence). As a successor to the best-selling AG series, it has both precision and high cost performance that can stably aim at micron units.
The newly developed "SP Power Supply" has greatly improved communication speed and calculation processing speed. As a result, the motor response control speed can be "more than twice as fast as the conventional one".
Due to this high speed, the electrical discharge machining circuit "Arcless 4" that does not arc, works effectively, further improving machining performance. In addition, we have further pursued the rigidity of the machine and adopted the precision correction function "TH COM" to reduce the amount of thermal displacement of the machine to half that of the conventional machine.
