[Injection molding machine / accommodating biodegradable plastic] The prototype of inert gas dissolution injection molding system ‘INFILT-V’ released in Thailand!

We sell injection molding machines and other machine tools that are indispensable for processing plastic products in Thailand. In recent years, environmental awareness has also increased in Thailand, and "bio-plastic" that is friendly to the global environment is attracting attention. Bio-plastic is a generic term for the following two plastics.
① Biomass plastic
Produced from biomass (biologically derived components) such as plants and renewable.② Biodegradable plastic
It functions the same as conventional plastics, and can be decomposed by microorganisms after its use to be reduced to natural waste over time.We are focusing on the development of biodegradable plastic molding technology, which is considered to be the most environmentally friendly. In November 2020, we held a private show on the topic of "bio-plastic and food packaging" with the support of PTT GC (PTT Global Chemical).

■ PLA (Polylactide Acid / Polylactic Acid)
Cutlery such as spoons, knives and forks, tableware such as plates, cups and plastic cups with lids. In addition, garbage bags, food packaging materials, etc.
■ PBS (Polybutylene Succinate)
Mainly disposable products such as paper containers like cups, wrapping films, and package films.
Improve the productivity of biodegradable plastics in Thailand with the new system "INFILT-V"!
Although biodegradable plastics are expected to be widely used in the future, the problem was that "the viscosity is high when melted and thin-walled moldings are difficult to process". In order to solve this problem, we have developed our own inert gas dissolution injection molding system "INFILT-V". INFILT-V is a system to be installed in our eV-LINE electric injection molding machine "MS Series".

This injection molding machine has achieved stable precision molding by adopting a separation structure of the "plasticization section" and "weighing and injection section". The new SYSTEM "INFILT-V" enables the molding of biodegradable plastics into thin and deep objects by injecting an inert gas that reduces the viscosity of resin materials directly into the "weighing and injection section" of the machine. Problems such as surface unevenness and damage are also solved, succeeding in further improving the performance of plastic injection molding.
