Drilling & Tapping Unit

This is a machining unit specialized for drilling and tapping.
In addition to the dedicated SELFEEDER for drilling and SYNCHROTAPPER for tapping, the new SELFEEDER DUO, capable of performing both functions, is now available.
With servo-driven feed and rotation axes, the unit retains the performance of a specialized machine while significantly enhancing versatility.

SSE2~SSE5: This unit is equipped with a PM motor for spindle drive, which reduces energy consumption by approximately 20% compared to conventional three-phase induction motors of the same output. Additionally, the variable spindle speed allows for tool changes without needing setup adjustments, enabling compatibility with a wide range of processing diameters.

ES6: A high-rigidity, body-mount type drilling unit with a maximum motor output of 2.2 kW.

ES7: A large drilling unit with a maximum motor output of 3.7 kW and a thrust capacity of 7,800 N.

■Mechanical-feed type tapping unit
SYNCHROTAPPER
SSTB・SSTC: By reducing cycle time with rapid feed and return, the unit is compact and lightweight, offering high flexibility in installation posture and saving space on dedicated machines.

STE-H/L: A mechanical feed tapping unit with a high-output motor, designed for processing large-diameter screws, tapered threads, and multi-threaded screws.
