◆ What kind of company is Siam Kochi?
Mr. Thanaset :Siam Kochi is a family-like company that has good relationship between Japanese and Thai people. This year is 12th anniversary since we were established. We do business about the manufacture of automotive parts. Our main customers are Japanese automotive groups.
If talking about our strengths, I think we have always been with the car industry. Although our business is small, we have our advantages, which is that we provide fast processing. We also have a strong support section, whether for the engineering side or machinery side. Even when choosing the machinery of TAKAMAZ, which is a machine from Japan, I use my experience in deciding to use a High Precision device like this.
Mr. Atipol : For TAKAMAZ, I think that Siam Koshi's strength is the executive's vision. With over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, Mr Thanaset is considered one of the experts. ◆ The starting point of doing business for both companies
Mr. Thanaset : In the past, we used to use machinery from Korea or Taiwan, but since I have always been in the Japanese automobile industry, I would like to use machinery from Japan even though our financial ability might not be enough. Still, I always thought that we had to upgrade since our customers are all Japanese, so we started to enhance our business 7-8 years ago by ordering from a distributor, MIZUKI TECH. The reason I choose TAKAMAZ is because I used their machinery before. I feel that it is easy to use and compact, so I decided to continue using it.
I started using robots for the first time in 2011. I have always thought that Thailand has to move forward. We must support the change of industrial systems by switching to more automation. The machinery of TAKAMAZ responds to this matter while also taking up less space if compared to other brands. Regarding the after-sales service, it is satisfactory. MIZUKI TECH has always taken care of us. Furthermore, since TAKAMAZ opened the Eastern Seaboard service center, it has made it easier for us to contact them for support.
Mr. Witawat : As someone who has used the machinery, I feel that TAKAMAZ machinery is easy to use, easy to control, not complicated, and suitable for even basic users.
Mr. Atipol : Currently, Siam Kochi is using about 30 units of our machinery. Siam Kochi is planning to expand the factory to accommodate urgent work and to produce work efficiently. We take care of each other with Double Service, which is from both agents that have basic services and a team that coordinates and supports customers, depending on which way is easier and faster to support customers because we focus on urgent and fast service. We understand that in the automotive industry business, if we let time go by, the companies that we support are losing money.
Mr. Watchara :I think TAKAMAZ doesn't sell just machines, but sells solutions that are problem-solving for customers. We hope that in the future, TAKAMAZ and the manufacturers will still be strong partners. We will grow steadily together.
