TAKAMATSU MACHINERY (THAILAND) presented its solution for automation in collaboration with the collaborative robot "TechMan Robot" at METALEX2020.
A system composed of a CNC lathe and easy-to-teach TechMan Robot contributes to automation (labor saving) and productivity improvement.
An automatic system that combines the CNC lathe "GSL-10H", with sales growing in the Asian region, and the collaborative robot "TechMan Robot" was exhibited. The TechMan Robot uses the built-in vision system (camera) to automatically correct the position and attach/detach it to/from the "GSL-10H".
Depending on how the CNC lathes and TechMan Robot are positioned, one robot can work on multiple machines at the same time.
It is obvious that products which are “easy to use for field workers” will strongly support automation and will greatly contribute to solving labor shortages. TAKAMAZ's CNC lathe "GSL-10H" also has the concept of "cost performance and ease of use", thus they are a perfect match.
The collaborated exhibition was created when President Ikezawa of MECHATRO ASSOCIATES (THAILAND) introduced the TechMan Robot to Yamashita MD of TAKAMATSU MACHINERY (THAILAND). In addition, HAKUSAN (THAILAND) designed the conveyor for an automatic chip discharge system. All three companies headquartered in Ishikawa Prefecture brought in solutions to support automation in Thailand, triggered by the relationship with their hometown.
At the booth, the new model "XT-6" series also attracted attention. It can be selected from the well-established Σi loader or the new Fanuc Loader that emphasizes operability and high speed.
