Due to the Corona Pandemic, remote work and telecommuting have been rapidly advancing in Thailand also. As the number of employees bringing their company PCs and equipment home to work with is increasing, more and more companies are worried about how to manage these items. Mars Tohken's take-out equipment management system "MCHDS (Mochidasu)" is a solution to this problem. It is recommended for companies that have on-site issues, such as difficulty in managing “who takes what, and when” out, and omissions in recording and checking items in and out.
This system uses a PC with a management application installed and an RFID handy terminal to accurately grasp the status of various equipment items and other items taken out by simply reading the IC tags, thereby preventing omissions in collection and returns.
*RFID = Technology that uses radio waves to read and write data in a non-contact manner

Examples of on-site issues
・The information about taking-out items or equipment is kept in a paper ledger which requires time and effort for registration and confirmation.
・There is a lack of booking processing because of handwriting.
・Omissions of entries have been observed.
|
|
・There is a lack of collection of used items after work is completed.
・Accidents have occurred due to misplacement at the site.
・Wish to prevent the loss of expensive equipment.
|
|
・Cannot find the necessary items when they need to be used.
・Sometimes items are taken out and go missing.
・Cannot trace “by whom, to where, and when” the unreturned items were taken out.
|
|
・A lot of time and effort to conduct inventory check.
・The actual number of items does not match the management ledger.

Operational flow and features of MCHDS
1. Registration of items
Link the UHF band IC tag to the items.
2. Registration of destination and user / Registration of take-out list
Register workplace signatures and workers in order to manage "by whom" and "to where" the items were taken out.
3. Take-out processing (take-out check function)
Before leaving the office, the IC tags are read in batches and the information on "by whom" and "what is” being taken out are registered.
4. On-site verification (check function for missed collections)
At the time of withdrawal from the site, the used items are checked to prevent omission of collection.
5. Return processing (return check function)
It is easy to register returns upon coming back from the site. Take-out / collation / inventory management* / history can be checked and data can be output in the CSV format.
* “Inventory management function” is also available: UHF tags can be read in batches for quick and reliable inventory processing.
MCHDS can be used to manage the taking out and returning of items in a variety of situations.
