Thanks to your support, we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of our establishment in Thailand this year. From July 1, 2021, we will launch a new business, the industrial tent business , taking over from Thai Taiyo Tent Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Taiyo Tent), the Thai tent sales company of Taiyo Kogyo Corporation.

We have a long-standing business relationship with Taiyo Tent, and we already have a track record as a sales-dealer. Due to the change in the business structure of Taiyo Tent, we have decided to take over the industrial tent business, including the staff and manufacturing facility.

Taiyo Kogyo Corporation：Supply of canvas fabric for industrial tents, and other related parts that are difficult to procure in Thailand
Neo Max 2021 (Thailand) Co., Ltd.：Manufacturing of industrial tents (Ayutthaya factory)
The canvas fabric, the key component of the tent, will continue to be made in Japan. Taiyo Kogyo conducts its own research and development, which enables us to provide high-value-added industrial tents with excellent durability.

・ Excellent durability (lasts about twice as long as local products)
・ High flame resistance that complies with JIS standards
・ High translucency (transparency of about 10% using ivory color film material)
The cutting, sewing, and welding of the canvas fabric based on the blueprint is done at Neo Max 2021 (Ayutthaya Factory). Experienced workers, who have inherited the traditional manufacturing techniques and also have training experience in Japan, work on the products.

Expectations for future "demand for temporary structures" in Thailand
Although tents are often positioned as "temporary structures," I believe that there will always be "demand for temporary structures" in the process of business expansion in any industry. The most common criterion to consider when installing temporary structures (tents) is the low price. Cheap tents naturally have a short lifespan, but this tendency was especially noticeable in Thailand. However, I feel that the idea of emphasizing cost performance is gaining support in Thailand as well, because of the current situation where people are calling for cost reductions due to the Corona pandemic.
I am very much looking forward to seeing how well our high-performance, high-quality tents will penetrate the Thai market in the future. We would like to maintain our existing quality and meet new demands as a leading Japanese-affiliated tent manufacturer in Thailand.
