This year, we participated in METALEX 2024 held at BITEC. Here are the highlights from the exhibition. In Thailand, the rapid rise in labor costs and the decline in the workforce due to an aging society have become critical issues in the manufacturing sector. Automation and workforce reduction through robots and AI have emerged as key challenges.

UENO (Thailand), in collaboration with five manufacturers, showcased demonstration machines with robots and AI, measuring instruments, and chemical products at the event.

Presenting a high-speed, high-precision, and highly efficient conveyor system, different from traditional transport methods.


⑤ SANKYO｜ LINER UNIT
A high-speed, high-power robot travel axis system applying roller cam mechanisms, in collaboration with DENSO’s 6-axis robot.


⑥ SANKYO｜ Fixed Positioning Device SANDEX
SANKYOSEISAKUSHO, renowned for its exceptional cam technology, showcased various models of "ROLLER DRIVE," a top-tier high-precision rotary positioning system, including its cam-based index.


⑦ ACCRETECH (TOKYO SEIMITSU)｜ Surface Roughness and Contour Measuring Machine SURFCOM TOUCH 50
Exhibited SURFCOM 50, a compact surface roughness and contour measuring machine with high resolution and straightness, the top model in the SURFCOM TOUCH series. The portable surface roughness measuring device Handy Surf+ was also displayed.
