For this article, we interviewed Mr. Eakkaluk, the company's warehouse manager, about the reasons for implementing UPR's pallet rental service and the benefits it brings.

Durable and Convenient Plastic Hygienic Pallets

In the food industry, hygiene management is the most important factor. In the moving and storage of products within the warehouse, wooden pallets that may be prone to insect contamination or the generation of wood chips cannot be used. Hygienic pallets must be used in these warehouses.

NWFT had originally purchased own pallets and used them, but faced issues such as pallet damage due to age-related deterioration, risk of product contamination, and pallet shortages. Additionally, the process of purchasing new pallets required time for delivery and was not user-friendly. Therefore, the company considered implementing UPR's pallet rental service.

The pallets provided by UPR are sturdy and durable, reducing the time spent on sorting pallets before use. They are also resistant to wear and tear, minimizing the generation of debris. Therefore, they are highly suitable for use in food factories and warehouses. The fork pockets (insertion ports) of the pallets are smooth and free from irregularities, making them convenient for forklift operation. This also helps prevent product falling accidents caused by forks getting caught in the irregularities of pallets.

The sales staff provides appropriate advice and is quick to respond. If we need pallets urgently, they can be delivered the afternoon if we order them in the morning. This speed and convenience represent a service that other companies do not have.

“In the event of a pallet damage, it will be immediately replaced with a new one, which is extremely convenient for warehouse use.
