“Think of appearance inspection, think of ViSCO”
We are the expert in appearance inspection/image processing inspection.
Our image processing controller, VTV-9000 series features high versatility that does not limit their applications.
It can be used at various stages in the manufacturing process of plastic molded products, and provides stable image processing inspection by proposing best optical system from wide range of choices and high-performance image processing software that can only be furnished by the expert.
By introducing it into the following processes, it will promote further stabilization and efficiency of production, improve the yield of your factory, and help labor savings with the progress of automation.
It is possible to monitor the workpieces remaining in the mold by the presence/absence inspection using ViSCO's image system. It monitors each opening of the mold, and if any residue is found in the cavity, it immediately sends a stop signal to the molding machine to stop the next shot. This prevents damage to the expensive mold
The products taken out from the molding machine are held by the take-out robot and transported to the camera installed which capture images to inspect for molding defects such as short shots and burrs. Defective products that are determined to be No-Good can be discharged separately, thus eliminating the need for appearance inspection in the subsequent process.
An image of the randomly placed products is captured from directly above to identify as the robot picks the products. The picked products are grabbed and transported to the camera for the appearance inspection.
Products flowing from the parts feeder are placed on a rotating glass table. By simultaneously capturing images from the top and bottom of the table, surface defects such as contamination (black spots) and cracks, as well as shape defects such as short shots and burrs, can be performed on the same stage at once.
ViSCO's machine vision system can be centrally managed. If each VTV-9000 system is on the same network, the status of inspections, inspection data, statistics, etc., being performed by each system can be centralized on a computer designated by the customer for more efficient management.
Not only remote monitoring that allows the inspection results to be grasped in real time without being at the production line site, but also the data collection function can be used to analyze logs of past inspections and other data that can be used as materials for additional processes.
ViSCO's machine vision system consists of a combination of optical equipment such as camera, lens, and lighting, and other related equipment, centered on the main controller, "VTV-9000" series. This combination is completely customized. We will propose the optimum configuration according to the application, size of workpiece, defect size, inspection items, etc.
