This is about an inspection method which uses a semi-automatic inspection equipment that performs in-tray inspection by attaching ViSCO’s camera to a desk-top robot manufactured by Musashi Engineering.

It is recommended when it is difficult to create an automatic inspection equipment including loading and unloading due to high variety and cost. We are expecting this to be used as a semi-automatic inspection equipment. While the operators perform tray insertion and ejection, and the inspection itself is performed by a Musashi Engineering desk-top robot and our image inspection device working in cooperation.

Conventionally, it was necessary to make an inspection machine by combining an electric actuator, PLC, etc., but by combining this robot and ViSCO’s machine vision, it can be used easily and quickly as a semi-automatic inspection equipment.
