Here is an image inspection demonstration of a small metal part (SIM card connector in this case).
In this demonstration, image inspection of SIM card connectors in a tray is conducted, checking for surface scratches, dents, and character information such as serial numbers. Using ViSCO's proprietary AI classification function, defects are identified and classified at high speed.

To detect dents and scratches, multiple images are captured by switching the lighting in just a few milliseconds. The inspection process extracts and examines dents and scratches based on phase difference information of the light.
The detected dents, scratches, text information, and other defects are classified using ViSCO's proprietary AI classification function.
This AI, trained with deep learning, enables high-speed and high-precision classification of good and defective products.
