The Gradfinder ® ︎ ️ is capable of robust positioning. It corresponds to a variety of inspection conditions, such as a chip of inspection object, the variability of thick, thinning, and orientation, blurs and noise effects, brightness changes and shading images.

The pattern matching function equipped in the positioning tool uses a technique to extract geometric features such as edges from an image and select the highest match between geometric features, and decide the position.

We employ unique feature, extraction techniques, and adopt matching techniques that reduce the effects of blurs and noise, also consider various lighting conditions and variability.

High detection performance
● Fast processing of only 0.2 to 0.5 msec of each search processing time
● Achieves stable and accurate detection with a repetition accuracy of 1/4 to 1/2 pixels

Possible to use properly according to inspection contents
Depending on the inspection purpose, it is possible to select the usage for normalized correlation search which corresponds to the rotation and for the geometric shape search.
