Asia Maintenance (hereinafter referred to as AMA) is one of the few Japanese-affiliated companies in Thailand specializing in equipment maintenance. While we handle a wide variety of machinery and repair items, this article will introduce in detail the specific repair and refurbishment services in which we particularly excel.

Rotary System Precision Unit Repair

The most frequent repairs handled by AMA involve rotary units, such as spindles. Our extensive track record is due to the high precision of our work. Bearings, which are critical for spindle repairs, require adjustments at the micron level. To achieve this precision, our factory is equipped with a precision air conditioning system that strictly maintains the room temperature at 25°C ± 1°C. All spindle repairs are conducted in this temperature-controlled environment.

After the repairs, we also conduct a test run up its specified rotational speed using a dedicated test bench to measure vibration, balance, and temperature. A report of the test run results is prepared and attached to the delivery.

Furthermore, we actively seek feedback on the quality after delivery and ensure thorough after-sales support. There are not many maintenance companies with well-equipped facilities that place such a strong emphasis on quality.

Slide (Turcite Replacement) Repairs

We perform slide regrinding, Turcite replacement, and alignment work in Thailand. We maintain a stock of various types of Turcite for slide repairs. Additionally, we are equipped with specialized tools, including dedicated adhesives and weights (four units of 1 ton each), used during Turcite replacement, ensuring our facilities are comparable to those of specialized manufacturers.

Spindle Taper Grinding

We perform grinding on the taper portion of spindles that have deteriorated in machining accuracy due to wear or damage. Typically, spindles are removed and sent to the manufacturer for re-grinding or replacement. However, AMA is equipped with specialized equipment for on-machine taper grinding, allowing us to conduct spindle repairs and taper grinding simultaneously without removing the spindle. Additionally, we can perform taper grinding on the machine table.

On-machine taper grinding is rare in Thailand, and it is not uncommon for machine tool manufacturers to request taper grinding services. As with spindle repairs, quality checks and precision measurements are conducted after taper grinding to ensure accuracy.

Management of Personal Information

The Company will maintain the accuracy of personal information and manage it safely.
The Company will take appropriate security measures to prevent the loss, destruction, tampering or leakage of personal information.
The Company will take precautionary measures against the loss, destruction, tampering, and leakage of personal information through appropriate system maintenance of the operating system and education of employees.

Request for Notification, Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use of Personal Information

In the case the Company receives request from the individual user regarding the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or erasure of personal information, stoppage of use by a third party or notification of use, after confirmation that the requester is the individual user, the Company will respond without delay in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.

Note that in the case that the request does not meet the requirements stipulated by the Personal Data Protection Act, or the reason to reject such request is permitted by the Personal Data Protection Act or other laws and regulations, the request may not be fulfilled.

In addition, there is no payment required or fees associated with the request for disclosure by the individual user. However, the cost of communication from the individual user to the Company, transportation expenses, and expenses associated with the preparation of materials for the purposes of individual identification will be the responsibility of the individual user.

Revision of Privacy Policy: The Company will review the operational status of the handling of personal information and make efforts for continuous improvement, and may change the Policy as necessary. After such changes to the Policy, the Policy will be published on the Company’s website.
