“Zero” defective products have become the norm nowadays.Although there are various reasons for this, such as strengthening of corporate governance on quality and automation of the following processes, we believe the bottom line is the truth that customers' quality requirements are becoming more stringent.
However, the reality is that it is not easy to manage not to produce even 1 defect in a million pieces. Even though Thailand is a country where labor costs are still inexpensive, visual inspections by humans are prone to inconsistencies and oversights, and no matter how hard the employees work, finding one defect in a million is beyond the scope of human effort, and is not a sustainable solution, which is a global trend.
This is why Nano Seimitsu proposes "total inspection" by high-speed automated sorting. With the slogan, "Faster, cheaper, and more accurate than humans," even 1 defect in a million pieces will not be missed.
We provide a contract sorting service using high-speed automated sorting machines made in Taiwan and China, which have many years of experience in this field. Customers can “deposit” their products with us, then we “sort” and “return” them. We sort over 6 million pieces of products every month.
Most of the inspections by the contract sorting service are for metal parts such as bolts and nuts, but we can also inspect materials such as rubber, plastic, and wood. We mainly inspect for size, deformation, and mixture of different parts (MIX).
How much does it cost and how long does it take to deliver?
1 day x 8 hours operation = We undertake the sorting service for about 5,000 baht.
(Automated sorting unit price: 0.05-0.1THB / PC)
Depending on the cycle time of the products,we can sort at a speed of 150 to 300 pieces per minute, therefore, it is possible to sort 50,000 to 100,000 pieces per day.
What are the detection subjects and accuracy?
Dimensional abnormalities and deformations of 0.1mm (100 microns) or more are subjected.
Repeatability is +/-1 pixel. 1 pixel = 8 um (microns), so assuming an accuracy of 1/10th of a digit of the value you want to measure, the calculation is 80 microns +/-1 pixel (96 microns in range) ≈ 0.1mm (100 microns).
The more we learn about image inspection, the more we feel that the human eye has excellent functions, but it is also the human eye that misses the "culprit" when concentration is lost. In view of the recent trend in quality assurance, the optimal solution so far for mass production inspection is to use automated sorting.
If you have a sudden outflow of defects and need to inspect and sort them immediately, or want to make sure that defects are stopped before delivery to the customer, we can help!
