Our company is selling automatic sorting equipment for all kinds of parts in Thailand. We set up a “Sorting House”, having a function of a showroom in a rental warehouse, to show the customers who are considering introducing the equipment and also developing the contracting inspection business of parts and other similar items.
This time, our company decided to set up a Sorting House in India, following the success of our Sorting house in Thailand. India has a population of more than 1.4 billion. The manufacturing industry clusters focusing on automobile, and it is expected that India will develop into a large market in the future. Firstly, we set up a “Sorting House” in the Delhi area as a limited-time project of 2 years and will start the same service as Thailand.
The major reason that we have decided to come into India is the existence of a parts market which is deemed to be the “cheapest in the world”. If it makes it possible to sort non-defective products with almost 100% success in the Indian Market that has many defective products, the manufacturers who assemble products using those parts will no longer need to sort those items in their own company. This will reduce labor cost, saving time and money on defective products. Non-defective products will be sorted at an extremely low cost on the cost side, and there is almost no additional load.
If the market expands, giving a high added value by sorting non-defective products, we are thinking that surely the Indian Market will also understand the value and necessity of sorting work.
The Delhi Branch is scheduled to open around August-September.
A new “Sorting House” will operate according to that schedule. Two automatic sorting equipment will be set up, which is the same as Thailand. This will enable us to sort a total of 200,000 parts a day with only 8 hours operations. We will consider extending operation hours as needed.
In the Delhi Branch, Mr. Srinath (29 years old) will be assigned as our Indian manager. At the moment, he will be in charge of everything from sales in general to the operation of the sorting machine, maintenance and management work.
Mr. Srinath is a QA man from clutch manufacturer, having many connections with suppliers and great experience. He is tenacious and can put himself in their shoes, so we think that he is a suitable person for this. Now he is training in Thailand, and he will be transferred to the sorting machine manufacturer in Taiwan in March, which our company has an exclusive agent agreement with to learn operation methods and maintenance skills.
After opening the Delhi Branch and setting up a “Sorting House” this time, if it is judged to have a great beneficial possibility, we will consider to enter into each major city in India, such as Mumbai, in which manufacturer industries flourish, as well as in South East Asian countries such as Vietnam.
We think that this business will certainly be expanding to each country in the future, if they can understand that increasing the cost to sort non-defective products will bring new added value and high profit.
