X2 axis and the added sub-spindle realize superimposed machining. In addition, by installing a motor one rank higher than the conventional machine, the outer diameter cutting cross-sectional area, including the sub-spindle side, has increased by more than 10%. Simultaneous machining of main and sub-spindles is also possible.
Furthermore, the 12-station main turret can be tool-mounted in 24 positions by the intermediate indexing function. Additionnally, with the sub-turret, the maximum number of tools becomes 36. It also contributes to shortening the time required for frequent setup changes.
