Equipped with 1.2-million-pixel monochrome CMOS, this handheld scanner incorporates the most advanced direct marking reading technology. Light distribution and brightness can be easily set to best suit each marking on various materials. The wide-view window makes it easy to read even small 2D symbols, and "distance reading" and "wide barcodes" can be handled with a single unit.

The MCR-H270 series is a general-purpose handy type 2D code reader that combines durability and IP52 robustness while being compact, lightweight, and highly functional. With its orthodox appearance and operability, it can be used for a wide range of applications from factory manufacturing sites to retail stores. The interface can be selected from RS-232C and USB/HID (switchable).

Although it is a small handheld type, 2 kinds of lighting, a spot light and an oblique light illumination are adopted. This dual lighting enables reading of 1D and 2D code including labels and foundation DPM. By the scanner itself only, operations such as switching between USB-COM / HID interface, switching the illumination, switching the reading mode, and transmitting the read image can be done.
