The Swiss company Rollomatic has specialized in manufacturing machines for mass-production machining of small-diameter tools with high precision. YKT has established a relationship of trust with Rollomatic and has sold many of their products in Japan, Thailand, and other countries. This time, we would like to introduce the new product ROLLOMATIC Grind Smart 660XW, which was launched by Rollomatic in the latter half of 2021.

The greatest feature of this new product is its compact body while maintaining high performance. Although similar in appearance to the conventional machine, the internal structure of the newly designed machine is significantly different from that of the conventional machine, and many functions necessary for machining are integrated into a single unit.

In general, the smaller the machine, the more difficult it is to stabilize machining accuracy. However, the 660XW overcomes this problem by minimizing mechanical movements to match its compact body and by using linear guides for the linear motion axes, thus achieving stable machining accuracy even in a compact size.

The machine not only combines the machining capabilities of a step grinder and a tool grinder into a single unit for highly efficient grinding, but also has a built-in transfer robot (tool loader) and a whetstone changer that automatically replaces whetstone.
