Yuasa Grand Fair, organized by Yuasa Trading, will be held for the first time in Thailand! Bringing Together Products from Over 150 Manufacturers at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center (BITEC)

Yuasa Trading (Thailand) (hereinafter referred to as YTTH) will host the first overseas edition of the Yuasa Grand Fair, which has a 46-year history in Japan, from February 5 to February 7, 2025, at BITEC Bangna in Bangkok. Over 150 manufacturers will exhibit products, including machine tools, energy-saving and environmental equipment, construction machinery, and building materi-als. The event will showcase the latest solutions that contribute to Thailand's “Manufacturing”, “Home Building”, “Environmental Solutions”, and “Urban Development”.

This article introduces the highlights of the YUASA Grand Fair in Thailand, along with the features and strengths of YTTH.

"Tsunagu (Connecting) Thai and Japanese culture"

YTTH has been operating as a specialized trading company in Thailand for over 50 years, since 1974. Founded in 1666, Yuasa Trading boasts a rich history and is set to celebrate its 360th anniversary in 2026. With four core business fields— “Manufacturing,” “Home Building,” “Environmental Solutions,” and “Urban Development”—Yuasa sources products such as machine tools, energy-saving environmental equipment, construction machinery, and building materials from approximately 6,000 leading manufacturers. The company has achieved sales with around 20,000 companies, primarily in Japan.

In Thailand, while focusing primarily on the "Manufacturing" field—particularly machine tools and industrial machinery—we have also been steadily expanding our track record by offering energy-saving solutions and environmental equipment. In 2023, we established new divisions for construction equipment and building exterior materials, allowing the Yuasa Group to fully demonstrate its comprehensive strengths in Thailand, similar to our success in Japan.

In addition to our company, YTTH, in Thailand, we have a group company, Yuasa Engineering Solutions (Thailand), which specializes in construction and engineering services. By collaborating with this company, we have established ourselves as a trading company that not only sells machinery and equipment but also excels in engineering services such as installation work, energy-saving proposals, and operational improvements for facilities and equipment in Thailand.

"Tsunagu (Connecting)" Japanese-affiliated manufacturers with Thai customers

The Yuasa Grand Fair is a unique exhibition by Yuasa Trading, where numerous top Japanese manufacturers showcase new products, offer on-the-spot sales, and propose future business opportunities. Since its first event in 1978, held across five locations Kanto, Kansai, Chubu, Kyushu, and Tohoku, the fair has continued to grow in both history and achievements. The Kanto event will celebrate its 46th edition in 2024, and in 2023, the five venues together welcomed a total of 54,436 visitors.

One of the reasons why Thailand was chosen as the site for the first overseas exhibition is that "Demonstrating Comprehensive Strengths Overseas" is a key element of the Yuasa Group's international strategy. The Group is moving forward with a shift from its traditional focus on the manufacturing sector, and Thailand represents the first step in this broader overseas expansion. We aim to extend our successes here to other countries as well. The Yuasa Grand Fair serves as the ideal platform to showcase the comprehensive strengths of the Yuasa Group.

Additionally, this event is centered around the concept of "Tsunagu (Connecting)," with the goal of transforming business in Thailand and creating new value as a specialized trading company. By “Tsunagu (Connecting)” “sponsoring manufacturers and attendees,” “manufacturers with each other,” and “Japanese and Thai culture,” the fair aims to act as a mediator in generating solutions to various challenges.
