Efficiently Remove Parting Lines with Unique Floating Machining Technology

The “BRQ-EL01” is an automated deburring solution utilizing robots, making it ideal for machining cast parts. It is particularly suitable for removing burrs from parting lines (jointed surfaces) of aluminum and iron castings, promoting automation, labor-saving, and efficiency in the workplace. In many foundry sites in Thailand, manual deburring remains common. However, this method depends on the skills of the operators, which can lead to quality variability. By introducing the “BRQ-EL01,” uniform deburring can be achieved, eliminating the instability in quality caused by changes in operators.

■ High-Speed and Stable Deburring with Tilting Floating Mechanism

The 360° tilting floating mechanism allows the cutting tool to move along the shape of the workpiece while maintaining a constant load. This design generates strong centripetal force at the axis center, ensuring that the tool remains in contact with the surface, even when working on complex shapes characterized by numerous curves, which are common in cast parts. As a result, high-speed deburring is achieved. Furthermore, the tilting floating mechanism adapts to the workpiece's shape, accommodating variations in dimensional size without the need for program adjustments. This capability ensures stable quality while preventing excessive material removal or leftover burrs.

The pressing force of the blade can be easily adjusted by regulating the supplied air pressure. This allows for customizable cutting based on the size and material of the burr.
