Water pressurized up to a maximum of 600 MPa (about 6,000 atm) is jetted from a small diameter nozzle. "Water Jet Cutter" is an equipment that cuts with ultrahigh pressure water flow. There are two methods: "water jet cutting" that machines only with water and "abrasive jet cutting" that mixes abrasives. Since it does not affect the properties or quality of the materials, it can be used for metal, glass, wood, stone, rubber, paper, etc., as well as food. It is a cutting technology that is drawing attention in many industries.
