This is a Sodick's electric discharge machine that has the large share in the global market. The wire-cut electric discharge machine cuts materials by melting the metal using the heat discharged from wire. If the metal has the nature to conduct electricity, all kinds of materials from thin metal to hard metal can be cut. Accurate contour machining can be performed in the mold by using programming and wire electrode in various thickness. The cost can be reduced as no tools are required except wires.

This is a Sodick's electric discharge machine which has the top-level share in the world. Die-sinker electric discharge machine can process like digging the metal by causing 1,000-100,000 sparks per second intermittently between the electrode and the metal. Since it is non-contact processing, it can cut into a fine shape in 1 micrometer. Original electrode non-consumable circuits solved an electrode consumption problem which was a disadvantage of electric discharge machines. The shapes we would like to process can be reproduced faithfully.

UX450L (linear motor driven)

Equipped with our in-house developed NC unit and linear motor, the spindle head has been reduced in weight by 8.3%, significantly improving axial response characteristics. Enhancements to the ATC mechanism have halved tool change times, enabling high-speed and high-precision machining. Additionally, an idling stop function conserves energy by automatically shutting off the power supply during periods of inactivity, thereby reducing power consumption.

TS50L (Linear motor drive / High speed milling center)

In electric discharge machining, machining precision and surface roughness are directly linked to electrode quality and accuracy. The TS50L is a high-precision machine for electrode machining with excellent cost performance equipped with a linear motor, similar to the high-end model UH series. Applications: Precision plastic molds, precision die-cast molds, rubber molds, etc.

UH Series (Linear Motor Drive / Ultra High-speed Milling Center)

It is equipped with original linear motor drive equipped on all 3 axes, in-house developed motion controller and PWM amplifier. By these functions, each axis control cycle speeds up and high-precision and high-speed milling process is realized. High-quality surface finish is conducted in the fine precision area along with the improvement of characteristics of resolution control It also contributes to the increase in speed of cemented carbide direct machining by diamond tools and quality improvement of mirror finish of optical lends.
