Water jet cutting

A water jet cutter (ultrahigh pressure water cutting equipment) jets water from the tip of a small-diameter nozzle at an ultrahigh pressure which is thousands of times that of tap water. It cuts metal, glass, stones, etc. by a water pressure that is about three times the speed of sound. It is used in various fields because it does not generate heat and does not affect the properties or quality of the materials. Water pressurized up to a maximum of 600 MPa (about 6,000 atm) is jetted from a small diameter nozzle. "Water Jet Cutter" is an equipment that cuts with ultrahigh pressure water flow.
